No water, no sewage, just ash. Here's how a Cinderella incineration toilet works, who it's for, and how to use one.
An incineration toilet is a water-free toilet solution that turns waste into ash using high temperatures. How does a Cinderella incineration toilet work?
After a toilet visit, an incineration cycle is activated in the incineration chamber, which is built into the toilet unit. This chamber heats up and reduces the waste to a small amount of ash. This eliminates the need for a septic tank or sewage system, making Cinderella a versatile toilet solution for cabins, workplaces, and vehicles alike.
What happens to the ash?
The ash container should be emptied regularly, preferably at least once a week with regular use. Simply empty the contents into your household waste.
Using a Cinderella incineration toilet in 5 easy steps
- Raise the lid and seat.
- Place an original Cinderella bowl liner in the bowl and lower the seat.
- Use the toilet as usual, then close the lid when you're finished.
- Press the "flush button", the bowl liner is released into the incineration chamber.
- The toilet is ready for use again.
Installation
A properly functioning incineration toilet begins with correct installation. All models, regardless of use case or installation site, need access to air for efficient incineration and a way to vent the hot air produced during the process. Pipe dimensions and approved installation methods vary depending on your chosen model, and are described in detail in the product manual.
