Installing a Cinderella is easy and requires no use of water or sewage. A ventilation system for air in and out must be installed, and it is important that this is done in accordance with our recommendations for good operational reliability and longevity.
Please study the installation manual delivered with the toilet, carefully, and make sure you have the necessary tools at hand to ensure a proper installation. If you are in doubt whether the installation can be done as described in the enclosed manuals, you should consult the dealer you bought the product from.
Optimal installation - specially adapted to your Cinderella
The toilet’s most important prerequisite for satisfactory performance is correct installation. With our original installation packages, you are ensured the best conditions for success. As of 2022, we have launched model-adapted installation packages that contain everything you need for an optimal installation. This will not only contribute to making it easy for you, but it will also assist you in installing your toilet according to our recommendations.
What do I need in order to install correctly?
As of January 2022, the packaging containing our toilets will only contain a product manual and a box of original bowl liners. All necessary parts for an optimal installation can be found in our additional original and complete installation packages. Our installation package consists of 2 boxes.
We have packed the toilet unit, original model-adapted components and pipes in 3 different boxes. You will need all 3 in order to install your toilet successfully.

4 main steps to proper installation
Select a location
Cinderella is approved for use in wet rooms (IP34) and may be installed in rooms without heating. It is not necessary to attach the toilet to the floor. The foundation must be hard and level – not carpeted. Cinderella may be installed on a heated floor.
Make sure there is a good supply of fresh air
The toilet unit will extract air from the toilet room. If the room is not equipped with an air vent, a new vent should be installed as close to the toilet as possible. The vent must be well dimensioned (at least Ø 160mm / 201cm2). The best location is in the wall or floor directly below the toilet. (This only applies to the CLASSIC and Freedom(GAS) models – the Comfort and Premium models have a separate ventilation pipe for air supply to the toilet.)
Install the ventilation outlet pipe, vertical pipe and chimney top
Ventilation pipes may be installed in several ways, depending on whether you are feeding them through the wall or directly up through the roof. The ideal installation is to go straight up from the elbow bend, without bend (no bends allowed for the Freedom(GAS) model), and ending up above a roof where the ventilation fan will be assisted by the chimney effect.
Connect the toilet to a power supply and the ventilation pipe
For the Classic, Comfort and Premium models, connect the toilet to the mains supply by plugging the power cable into an earthed wall socket (at least 10A). Connect Cinderella Freedom(GAS) to a 12V power supply with a dedicated cable to the battery installation.
