Cinderella Travel was launched in 2013, and is a further development of the popular incineration toilets from Cinderella which have been available since 1997. Cinderella Travel uses propane gas or diesel to power the incineration process and only requires a 12V power source to control the toilet's electronics.
What is an incineration toilet?
The incineration toilets from Cinderella are toilets where both urine and excrement are incinerated at a high temperature to a minimal amount of ash. No onward transport of waste, or storage in tanks that must later be emptied.
With Cinderella Travel, you don't have to worry about "emptying the tank", all waste is incinerated in the toilet itself, and the result is a small amount of ash.
How to use an incineration toilet?
A Cinderella incinerator toilet is easy to use, and uses paper bowl liner to transport the waste safely down to the incineration chamber. Raise the lid and seat. Place an original Cinderella bowl liner in the bowl, and lower the seat. Use the toilet as normal and close the lid when you are done. Press the "flush button" and the bowl liner with content is dropped into the incineration chamber. The toilet is now ready for the next visitor.
Can Cinderella Travel be retrofitted in my motorhome or caravan?
Cinderella Travel can in most cases be retrofitted into existing units. This type of retrofitting will require removing the old toilet solution, extending the supply of 12V electricity and gas or diesel, in addition to ensuring that there is sufficient air supply to the toilet. You must also install an exhaust pipe from the toilet and out over the roof.
In addition to the toilet itself, you also need an installation kit, which contains the necessary components and pipes for an optimal installation. It is important that the product is installed correctly and according to the manufacturer's instructions.
